Bachelor of Physiotherapy Syllabus: What You’ll Learn in Each Year

A Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a 4-year undergraduate medical degree that trains students to become physiotherapists. The program covers key subjects like anatomy, physiology, and exercise therapy, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments.
The 4-year BPT course is followed by a 6-month mandatory internship to complete the course.

To study BPT course, a student

  • Has to have completed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks, with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects
  • S/he also needs to qualify for entrance exams like IPU CET, BCECE, IEMJEE, NILD CET, DSAT etc.

BPT graduates are healthcare professionals who use evidence-based techniques to help individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical function.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course Curriculum

The two primary parts of the BPT curriculum are:
