The vision of JNUB is that a healthy body with a healthy mind makesabetter professional in career. Realizing this, the University has laidimpetus on developing facilities for outdoor as well as indoor games.

The University has developed grounds with nice grass turf for football, plain ground for volleyball, judicious pitch and ground for cricket, goodground for hockey and basket ball court, separate shuttle badmintonfacilities for Boys and Girls and tracks for athletics. Tracks for athleticsare developed for 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter races. For indoor games nice facilities have been developed for gymwith multipleequipment's, carom board, T.T Table, chess board under one roof withplaying and sitting space for the onlookers. The University organizesinter department competitions in sports each year and the identifiedgoodplayers are recognized.

The University being member of Association of Indian Universitiesprovides facility to students to participate in inter-university tournamentsand many students have availed this opportunity and participated insuchtournaments and other sports organized by various universities inthecountry from time to time.
