Jagan Nath University, Bahadurgarh, Haryana arranged for viewing the live telecast of launching of Fit India Movement by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on August 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. The display of live telecast was arranged in the Seminar Hall of the University which was attended by about 200 students and staff. On conclusion of the live telecast ceremony the Vice Chancellor addressed the gathering and emphasized on inculcating the habit of physical activity and sports among citizens in general and students in particular to lead a healthy and successful life. The slogan given was ‘Healthy India and Wealthy India – A Way of Life’. The University has already made provisions in the time table for Yoga and Sports activities as per the academic calendar. These activities are coordinated by the NSS and Sports Incharges.
