Computer science engineers are involved in many aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers, and supercomputers to circuit designing and writing software that powers them.

The bachelor of Technology (C.S.E), is a 4 -year program spread over eight-semesters that is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of computer science and engineering concepts, theories, and applications.
The main objective of this programme is to groom the students to develop ability for critical thinking and analysis through mathematical skills, problem solving approach and hands –on practice through case studies, project work and working in industry/ organizations. The Program prepares students for careers in the field of computer science and technology through a unique pedagogy of experiential learning. Eligibility:
B-Tech Programme: Passed 10+2 examinations with Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/ Information Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
OR
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. (The University will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the subject coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare level playing field and desirable learning outcomes of the programmes) . As per AICTE norms (05% relaxation in marks for SC/ST students)
