The 5th Deans committee of ICR has identified general and core (elective) courses for B.Sc (Hons.) Ag. It also includes rural work experience, experiential learning, real time situation and industrial placement training. The elective subject includes crop production, crop protection, crop improvement, horticulture, natural resource management and social sciences. Besides a number of general courses to cover all aspects related to agriculture and allied subjects.
There are large opportunities of jobs in banks after completing B.Sc agriculture degree. These positions include agriculture provisionary officers, officers for evaluation of land machine, animals for evaluation for bank credit proposals.
Agriculture is skill development based education program after completion of B.Sc (Hons.) Ag. Degree. The degree holder can establish pesticides, fungicides, seeds shops for their exclusively authorized. Also, they can establish entrepreneurship in field of organic manures, vermi compost, bio-pesticides besides include seeds for self employment.
