The 5th Deans committee of ICR has identified general and core (elective) courses for B.Sc (Hons.) Ag. It also includes rural work experience, experiential learning, real time situation and industrial placement training. The elective subject includes crop production, crop protection, crop improvement, horticulture, natural resource management and social sciences. Besides a number of general courses to cover all aspects related to agriculture and allied subjects.

There are immense possibilities of finding jobs in private jobs in private sector that includes seed, fertilizer, bio fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, industry.
