Around Us

Jagan Nath University, Bahadurgarh, District Jhajjar, Haryana, part of NCR, is located on Bahadurgarh- Jhajjar Road, State Highway-22, at a distance of 18 kms. from Bahadurgarh Metro Station, about 60 kms. from I.G International Airport, and 10 kms. from Jhajjar town. Both Bahadurgarh and Jhajjar are historical cities and have many pages of history engulfed in it particularly during Mughal Empire. During Akbar Rule, this area was part of Delhi Province. The University is located at almost an equi-distance from Gurugram, Dwarka, Rohini, Rohtak and Rewari (NCR locations).

Connectivity

There are plans to connect Delhi Metro to Bahadurgarh by March, 2018. The travel time from Mundka and Inderlok Metro Stations would be around 20 minutes and 45 minutes respectively up to Bahadurgarh Metro Station. From Bahadurgarh Metro Station the travel time to University will be around 25 minutes. 

Education

Jhajjar District is coming up as an industrial belt with the proposal of SEZ, a joint venture of Reliance Group and HSIDC, being established in the area. The other nearby industrial locations are Bahadurgarh, Gurugram and IMT Manesar industries. There are number of other higher education institutions, schools and medical institutions including AIIMS located in the region.

Tourism

The famous Jhajjar city has many historical buildings, places to visit including Gurukul of Arya Samaj. Partapgarh Farms is ethnic village and eco-tourism destination approved by Department of Tourism, Government of Haryana, which has become a popular destination with tourists from Delhi and NCR who want to experience rural life of Haryana, its customs, foods, games and cuisine. A large number of schools, corporate and families come here as tourists to enjoy a day out midst sprawling green country side.

Local Cuisine

Jhajjar is famous for its cattle wealth. There is no dearth of milk and milk products in the cuisine of Haryana. Fresh vegetable and fruits are easily available. The area has now an evolving place. It has increasing urban radius with many new buildings coming up.
